Mr.Clarke, this is not a question, these are just my congratulations for your wonderful winning of the British Open. I had the opportunity to follow your game hole by hole at the Italian Open in Turin on saturday and even if it was a difficult day, I really appreciated your mood and your way to manage the game. Since I have started play golf I have been a "Darren Clarke fan", so thank you for this wonderful victory ! Michele Gavino, Milan, Italy

Darren, Your fabulous victory at The Open brought tears of joy to my wife and I. Your determination to succeed over the years is an inspiration and you deserved the victory as your play was sublime for all 4 days. My wife is currently living with cancer and having met you briefly at the Dubai Desert Classic a few years ago your experience has helped her. For that and your great win I thank you. Many regards and good luck with your future wedding. Keep smiling! Richard Scarr.
