Below
are some of the comments made by Darren about his swing.
The
Set Up
I am well balanced and my
weight is evenly distributed.
My left arm and club shaft
are aligned. A great place
from which to start.
|
Take
Away
I maintain a relationship
between my shoulders, arms
and the club to form a one
piece take away. |
Half
Way Back
My wrists have started to
hinge and my weight has moved
fractionally on to my right
side. |
The
Top of the Back Swing
My shoulders have coiled fully
against my legs. Wrist hinge
is complete. I have a full
shoulder turn and short arm
swing which helps maintain
accuracy.
|
In
the Slot
The club is now in perfect
delivery position. Body and
hips are uncoiling and my
weight has shifted on to my
left side.
|
Release
Position
The club has
fully released down the line
and a good extension is the
result of the power built
up earlier in the swing.
|
On
the Way Up
As you can
see the body and arms have
maintained the relationship
and I am in full control of
the club. |
The
Follow Through
The speed of the clubhead
is now slowing down and I
am eyeing the ball. |
Photo Finish!
Notice how
the body is fully aligned
on the left foot, the club
is under control and I am
perfectly balanced.
