Darren received an invitation to play in the USPGA and was delighted to accept. The event was held at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin and he finished in a tie for 48th.
Darren, who celebrated his birthday during the week, shot rounds of 74, 70, 72 and 73 giving him a 289 total of one over par.
Martin Kaymer and Bubba Watson played off for the title after both players finished on 11 under par during regulation play - Kaymer won the duel at the third play- off hole.
