I cannot thank the US PGA enough for the kindness and generosity they have shown me

3 Irish Open

Darren played in the 3 Irish Open at the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club in Ireland, where he finished in a tie for 12th.

He put together rounds of 66, 70, 71 and 69 to give him a four round total of 276, eight under par. England's Ross Fisher won the event on eighteen under par.

Last week Darren received an invitation to play in the year’s final major, the USPGA Championship in Whistling Straits, Wisconsin.

“It’s the best news I’ve had since I qualified for The Open at Loch Lomond last month,” said Clarke.  “I cannot thank the US PGA enough for the kindness and generosity they have shown me.”
