
Darren played in the Estoril Open de Portugal at Penha Longa Golf Club in Linho Sintra this week and finished in a tie for 6th place.
After a first round 75 Darren followed that up on Friday with a 67 in round two to make the halfway cut by one shot. On Saturday he added a 67 to the tally and on the final day he flew round in 66, the best round of the day, despite very strong winds for the majority of the day. The tournament was won by Denmark's Thomas Bjorn on twenty three under par.
Darren now has a week off and then travels to Germany to play in the BMW Internation Open which begins on 24th June.
