Darren played in the Celtic Manor Wales Open near Newport in Gwent, over the 2010 Course, the venue for the Ryder Cup later this year.
Darren who had a frustrating week with his putter, put together rounds of 69, 71, 73 and 73 to finish on two over par and in a tie for 39th. Compatriot Graeme McDowell won the event on fifteen under par after a sizzling final round of 63.
Darren now travels to Portugal for the Estoril Open de Portugal which begins on Thursday.
