Darren played in the BMW Italian Open at Royal Park I Roveri in Turin where he shot rounds of 73 and 74 in the first two rounds giving him a three over par total of 147. The halfway cut fell at level par so he missed out on weekend play. Fredrik Andersson Hed claimed the title on sixteen under par by two shots from ISM's David Horsey.
Darren takes next week off before playing in the European Tour's flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club in Surrey.
