Darren played in the Open de Espana at Real Club de Golf de Sevilla in Seville, Spain where he finished in a tie for 30th.
Darren's tournament week wasn't without drama - he shot 75, 69 in rounds one and two and, thinking he had missed the cut, flew back to London. His level par score eventually made the cut so he had to make an unexpected speedy return to Seville. After flying to Malaga he then drove to Seville to make his 8.45 am tee time on Saturday morning and shot a very respectable 72 after a severe lack of sleep. On Sunday he fired in a 69 and finished the tournament at three under par. Spain's Alvaro Quiros won the event at the first play-off hole after finishing on eleven under par alongside James Morrison.
Darren now moves on to Turn where he plays in the BMW Italian Open which begins on Thursday.
