Darren played in the Africa Open at East London Golf Club and finished in a tie for 28th position.
He put together rounds of 69, 70, 71 and 70 giving him a twelve under par total of 280.
ISM stablemate Charl Schwartzel won the title on twenty under par by one shot from Thomas Aiken.
Darren now travels up to Johannesburg for the Joburg Open which begins on Thursday.
