Darren played in the Portugal Masters at the Oceanico Victoria Golf course in Vilamoura where he finished in a tie for 41st position. His rounds of 69, 68, 70 and 71 gave him a four round total of 278, ten under par.

Darren's great friend and ISM stablemate, Lee Westwood, took the Portugal Masters title by two shots from Italy's Francesco Molinari - Lee finished on twenty three under par and his victory gives him the number one spot in the European Tour Race To Dubai.

Darren now moves on to Valencia in Spain where he plays in the Castello Masters Costa Azahar which begins on Thursday.
