
Darren played in the Open de France ALSTOM over the par 71 Le Golf National course on the outskirts of Paris.
His rounds of 73, 69, 68 and 72 left him in a tie for 31st with a four round total of 282, two under par.
The tournamnent was won in dramatic fashion by Germany's Martin Kaymer who finished the tournament at thirteen under par alongside England's Lee Westwood. At the first play-off hole Kaymer made a par four which was good enough to take the title as Westwood took a visit to the water and made a six.
Darren now travels to Loch Lomond near Glasgow for The Barclays Scottish Open which begins on Thursday.
