Good Performance At Baltray

Darren ClarkeDarren saw a welcome return to form at The 3 Irish Open played at County Louth Golf Club in Baltray where he finished in a tie for 14th after rounds of 71, 68. 73 and 70. The event was won by the 22 year old Irish amateur, Shane Lowry who claimed the title after a dramatic three hole play-off against England's Robert Rock - they had both finished at seventeen under par in regulation play.

Clarke now travels to England where he will be playing in the BMW PGA Championship at The Wentworth Club in Surrey beginning on Thursday 21st May 2009.
