Darren played in the inaugural Tshwane Open at Copperleaf Golf and Country Estate, near Pretoria in South Africa, where he finished in a tie for 63rd.
Darren shot rounds of 69 73 72 and 69 to finish on five under par. South Africa's Dawie van der Walt took the Tshwane Open title on the score of twenty one under par.
