Darren played in the flagship event of the European Tour, the BMW PGA Championship at the Wentworth Club in Surrey where he shot a one under par round of 71 on Thursday. He followed that up with a disappointing 77 on Friday so was four over through two rounds which missed the halfway cut.
Luke Donald successfully defended his title finishing up on a fifteen under par total.
