It's All Go

Since my win in Mallorca I've been really busy and just before Wentworth I attended the Golf Live event, hosted by Monty, at the London Club which was excellent and a good few of my fellow tour pros were there.
The Darren Clarke School had a stand there which created an enormous amount of interest. I also managed to have a wander around a few of the other stands and picked up a new swing trainer from Momentus Golf and Tyrone added to his collection of Loudmouth trousers which are his favoured attire on the golf course.
It was then on to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth where the few subtle changes made to the course since last year have really... MORE »

Hi Everyone, sorry this has been a long time coming but I've been having a re-group since Morocco and things are definitely on the up with having notched up my first win of the year!
This came on the back of spending some time in the Bahamas - myself and Alison had a week there a while ago and then I played in a few tournaments, actually I should say 'participated' as my game wasn't in great shape. Then we all went for three weeks, and by all I mean Alison, Tyrone, Conor, my sister Andrea, husband Davy and their two lads Callum and Chris and we had an absolute ball.
Myself and Davy played in the Member Guest at the Abaco... MORE »

I think overall that the Middle East trip was pretty good, and almost very good! Dubai was a little bit disappointing but in general for the first six weeks on Tour I would have been hoping to have done a tad better than I did.
I was fortunate enough to get a putting lesson from Jose Maria Olazabal in Abu Dhabi and I've been working away on what he told me. There were some good signs on the Middle East so I'm keeping on perservering with that at home.
However, it was great to see Thomas Bjorn, our Chairman, winning in Qatar, very well deserved as he's worked so hard.
During the Desert Swing I used two sets of new TaylorMade irons, a... MORE »

A belated Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you all had a great Christmas - we had a lovely family time back at home in Portrush. Unfortunately my mates enticed me out a few times too often for a few too many pints of Guinness and nice meals so I'll be trying to reverse the process over the next few months!
Just before Christmas myself and Alison got engaged which is fantastic, she's a great girl and gets on with the boys all the family and best of all we get on great! She's got accustomed to professional golf very quickly and puts up well with my occasional grumps if I've had a bad day at the office! We haven't set... MORE »

Hi everyone, hope you’re all enjoying this chilly weather! Having just come back from Florida I have to say that I am definitely feeling it!
As far as the golf went this year, it wasn’t exactly the season I was hoping for but have to admit that I was trying to finish in the top 30th of the Race to Dubai to ensure my place in the Open, so it was a good feeling to find that I was the ‘last man in’!
After the Dubai World Championship I went back home to Ireland for a week and caught up with things there. Three weeks away from the boys is an awful long time for me and just about the maximum I... MORE »
