Happy New Year everyone from sunny Dubai where I'm currently practising for my first couple of weeks back on the course. But before the golf starts I'll fill you in on what's been going on
It was such a huge honour to be awarded the OBE by Her Majesty The Queen and certain capped off what was the most wonderful year for me. As you can imagine there are two very excited young chaps in the Clarke household who can't wait for their visit to Buckingham Palace along with myself and Alison.
As most of you probably already know, the Irish Open is coming to Royal Portrush this year which is going to be a massive event for Northern Ireland. It's one... MORE »

Hi Everyone, phew.......it's good to be home after my mini world tour that took me to Australia, South Africa, Dubai and Thailand! On the golf front it was a disappointing stretch but I enjoyed some amazing hospitality and met great people along the way. I didn't know which way was up on occasions and even managed to drop my mobile phone in a pond for good measure!
It's a very pleasant feeling to be home in Northern Ireland and I'm so lookig forward to a fantastic family Christmas.
On the social front it's been a whirlwind since I got back on Monday, and that included Alison's model agency Christmas party which once again was a fantastic night out with the beautiful people... MORE »
One Down One To Go

Phew! It's been so busy of late that blogs have had to take a back seat - but I'm back on the case!
So I'll try and pick up from where I left off which was just before the charity invitational event that I hosted with Ian Botham up at the stunning Archerfield in Scotland. We raised in excess of £400,000 for our charities which was just fantastic and it's always a pleasure and a privilege to team up with Beefy as his fun factor and enthusiasm is totally infectious.
Special mention must go to Liam Botham, Beefy's son, who organised the whole affair with military precision as always.
The next stop for me was the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship where I was... MORE »

Sorry...................I know it's been a long time coming but here's my latest blog!
After a disappointing little sojourn to America, when I was extremely tired, I had a lovely two week break.
We went up to Lough Eske Castle in Donegal, where Alison spent her days in the Spa and I spent my days on the shores of the lough in the pursuit of the mighty Salmon! It was absolute bliss..........the only problem was that the Salmon persisted in jumping over my flies and refused to nibble on one.
Although there was a lack of salmon I have to say that we had the most wonderful time, and it was the first opportunity since the Open Championship that I'd really had time to... MORE »
My First Major!
Posted: 24th July 2011
Well folks, here I am a week on from claiming the title of Champion Golfer of the Year at Royal St George's and it's just beginning to sink in! I've heard those words at every presentation for the Open Championship for as long as I can remember and it's the most incredible feeling to be 'it'!
It's been totally and utterly hectic but a most enjoyable week so I think it's time to share it with you. After I sunk that final - very short - putt for the title it was just the icing on the cake to have my Mum and Dad there, whose support over the the last 42 years has been fantastic. Alison, my gorgeous fiancee, who... MORE »
