Darren's Course Design

Pinnacle Point
It won't matter how badly anybody is playing, golf here will not be a good walk spoiled. It is simply one of the most stunning places I have ever seen and I don't think I was over the top when I described it as heaven on my first visit.
Now the course is developing, I can honestly say I can't wait to be able to play there.

Castle Dargan
I was delighted to be asked to design the new championship course at Castle Dargan along with Patrick Merrigan whose design experience at courses such as The Old Head of Kinsale was a wonderful benefit.
The site we had to work with should have been a golf course a long time ago. All we had to do was pull back some of the covers to reveal a truly outstanding piece of land.

The Angus
When you first glimpse the landscape where The Angus will take shape, you can't help but feel you're somewhere Mother Nature intended for golf. It's a stunning location which, as it matures, will become an even more memorable experience.

Moy Valley
The par 72 course, at 7260 yards (6534m), is very challenging from the back tees, and is certainly destined to stage major championships in the near future. However, Darren's design philosophy was to ensure that the average golfer will find the course both an eminently playable and enjoyable golfing experience from the forward tees.
